With Thor’s big live action movie coming up, Marvel’s also trying to set up different tie ins to cash in on the upcoming movie.
Their tie in is also a direct to DVD animated movie, namely Thor: Tales of Asgard.
Unlike the DC universe animated movies the animation in Marvel’s animated movie is of lesser quality. The movies are somewhat enjoyable but not in the same league as their counterparts from DC.
Below is the trailer for the new Thor animated feature (via Animatieblog and IGN)
There was talks about a Thundercats movie a few years back. Bleedingcool managed to get hold of some footage of that supposed movie and it’s shown below as well.
It looks more like a computer game than a movie. And seeing that I’m generally more inclined to traditional animation I can’t say I’m sad to see this never actually being released.
Lets hope the new animated series will be better than this.
This year looks to be full with superhero movies. Some will be new like Thor and Captain America, but there’s also some old favs like one of the first superhero movies that started the superhero movie craze, namely X-men.
The 3rd movie sucked balls and pretty much killed the series, but the new movie will see the X-men return to the beginning and will hopefully revitalize the franchise. Below is the first trailer for it and in terms of mutants it looks cool again.
So the third Transformers movie is going to premiere in 5 months and last weekend during the Superbowl the first trailer showing something about the new movie was shown.
Forget the teaser trailer in which nothing was to be seen, the new trailer actually shows the bots again! And from the looks it seems there’s lots more action.
Still nothing about the story, but then again how much story was there in the first two movies anyway?
After being disappointed with the 2nd movie I hope Bay did focus a little bit attention on the story though.
