Archive for December, 2011

The 2011 Conan the Barbarian movie may have been mediocre and on the biggest flops at the cinemas, but the Limited Edition Blu-Ray box is a winner.

Let me first of all say that I actually liked the movie. It definitely wasn’t a masterpiece, and the Schwargenegger movie from the 80s had more heart, but the 2011 version offered some good brainless entertainment. Add in Rachel Nichols looking hot as ever, and I’m happy.

But what really persuaded me to actually buy the movie on DVD was the limited edition. Dutch Filmworks released a very cool LE edition box in the Netherlands.

Lord of the Rings Lego

I used to love Lego when I was a kid, and the small bricks from Denmark still keep fascinating me.

Summer 2012 will probably see the release of one of the coolest Lego incarnations, namely the classic Lord of the Rings trilogy in Lego format!!!

How friggin’ cool is that?

G.I. Joe Retaliation Trailer

I like the 80s G.I. Joe cartoon, so a movie automatically has my attention.

The first G.I. Joe live action movie I actually liked as well, and not just because Rachel Nichols stars in it (she’s hot!). So, I’m looking forward to the sequel for which the first trailer has been released.

John Carter From Mars

The first live action movie from Pixar Animation Studios is immediately a big one: John Carter from Mars.

Will the movie be worthy of the iconic character? Next year we’ll see in the cinemas. For now the first official trailer has been released.
