Yesterday was another productive sketching day. I managed to produce a few sketches with which I was moderately satisfied.
Last week’s sketches were cartoon babes, this week skulls!

In the 90s there was an animated series called Skeleton Warriors. As the name says it featured skeletons dressed up as warriors and battling each other.
How could I not like that? Aside from my fondness for skulls it also was a watchable animated show. Perhaps not as popular as other animated series, but still good.
Coming December the entire series will be released by Gary Goddard Entertainment. The 2-disc set will contain all 13 episodes as well as extras.

Out of the two barbarian movies coming out this year, Conan the Barbarian has to take a back seat because Ronal the Barbarian is also coming to cinemas this year, and his trailer is simply much more exciting than the boring Conan’s one.
Babes, balls and muscles!

I’ve finally been back at the drawing board and one of the things I’m currently working on is a new logo for my site.
And what else than a skull can it realistically be

Last weekend I visited FACTS, the biggest comic/SF/toys/anime/fantasy convention in the Benelux.
One of the artists scheduled to make an appearance was Halfgod comic artist Simon Bisley. And being a fan of his work, I simply could not miss it. Not only did I get some stuff signed by him, but he also made this really cool sketch.
Aside from being one of the best artists in the world, Bisley’s also a really cool guy. Before the end of the morning he was already sipping down some Belgian beer
He also took his time to chat with the people, and made a sketch for everyone who asked.
And I got a shitload of some his newer comic work with lots of references to Hell and body parts flying around
So, my weekend was good!
