A new trailer for Ronal the Barbarian, an animated movie from Denmark, has been released.
The movie premies September 19th in Denmark. No information if and how it will be released internationally.
The previous trailers looked promising with a clear focus on humor to attract attention. The newest trailer reminds me a bit of How to Train Your Dragon. So far it all looks promising so I hope we also get to see an international release with at least subtitles or an English dub.
Toy Story and Cars are not one of my favourite Pixar movies. I seriously don’t get what people find fun in Toy Story, but somehow the world does and the only Pixar release last year was a sequel to Toy Story.
Last weekend the only Pixar movie debuting this year is Cars 2 a sequel to Cars, another flick that should be forgotten in my opinion.
But next year we’ll finally see an original Pixar again, namely Brave, and the preliminary production art released so far looked promissing. Yesterday the first trailer was released and I can’t wait till Brave hits the theaters.
A new trailer released for the upcoming revamped Conan the Barbarian Movie features a lot more blood than I initially had anticipated, thereby compensating for the weak first trailer.
And did I mention Rachel Nichols is in it? If I hadn’t said if before, she’s hot!
Out of the two barbarian movies coming out this year, Conan the Barbarian has to take a back seat because Ronal the Barbarian is also coming to cinemas this year, and his trailer is simply much more exciting than the boring Conan’s one.
So the third Transformers movie is going to premiere in 5 months and last weekend during the Superbowl the first trailer showing something about the new movie was shown.
Forget the teaser trailer in which nothing was to be seen, the new trailer actually shows the bots again! And from the looks it seems there’s lots more action.
Still nothing about the story, but then again how much story was there in the first two movies anyway?
After being disappointed with the 2nd movie I hope Bay did focus a little bit attention on the story though.
Later this week a new DC Universe animated series will debut on Cartoon Network, namely Young Justice for which a new trailer is available.
The animation (of course?) looks very impressive and even though it stars the younger versions of well known DC heroes, the style or trailer doesn’t look childish. Can’t wait to see the final result!
It seems Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon is only a few months away from release (expected release July 2011) and the first trailer popped up this week.
Tired of the standard family CG animated features from Disney and Dreamworks? Danish directors Kresten Vestbjerg Andersen and Thorbjørn Christoffersen made a parody of the fantasy genre with their barbarian spoof Ronal the Barbarian to be released next year.
Below is the trailer for this feature, found via a Dutch Animation blog.
It has skulls, pentagrams and nipple rings. How can this not be a success?
