Even though I`ve gotten the newly released JLU season one box this week, I managed to view all the episodes in one week. And for those wondering if my live is that pathetic that I spend a whole week watching cartoons, no, I actually had a whole week off from work, and thus had plenty of time to do other stuff - like watching two seasons of JLU ;)But the real reason I watched the entire box in just a few days, is because JLU is really a good show, and once you start watching you just can`t stop. Batman The Animated Series is one of the milestones in TV cartoon history. But with the Justice League I think the same creative team may have even surpassed Batman TAS, and ranks -along with Batman TAS- as one the finest cartoons to ever appear on the small tube.
Today season one of Justice League Unlimited will officially be released on DVD in the US. But thanks to DVDpacific my copy had already shipped last week, and arrived in my mailbox today!

Yesterday TVShowsOnDVD reported news for two (possible) upcoming toon releases.
One was very good news, because Sony may finally re-release the original Transformers on DVD in 2007. There`s no official confirmation yet, but with the big budget live-action Transformers Movie coming out next year, Sony will undoubtly milk this baby dry by releasing everything possible - including the original Transformers cartoon.
The bad news isn`t something NOT being released, but rather BEING released. And in this case I`m talking about one of the worst and horrible cartoons ever to be put on celluloid, namely the New Adventures of He-man.
He-man is one of the icons of TV cartoons and the 80s, and still beloved by many today. However after the original toon ended, some mentally retarded person decided to make a remake, and hence the most horrible atrocity was created in the form of The New Adventures of He-man, an official rip-off of the original He-man.
I can`t begin to describe how much this horrible cartoon sucks. But in a few months everyone will be able to judge for themselves, because BCI will be releasing it on 26 December. But I urge you not to buy it, because it really sucks, believe me.

After seeing volume 1 of Negima I must admit liking the show. So I went looking for volume 2, and of course the limited edition version (whch contains a cool Pinky Street toy)Unfortunately limited in this case apparently actually meant limited, because volume 2 seems to be sold out at almost every large e-tailer. And the few that do have it, are selling if for crazy prices.
So, not be left out again, I already preordered volume 3 and received it this week.

Gothic Metal band Lacuna Coil will be playing in the Netherlands tomorrow, unfortunately it`ll be in some crappy little town where no sane person would want to live!So because the last train leaves before Lacuna Coil gets to sing their last song, and I really suck at reading directions so traveling by car also isn`t an option, I`m afraid I`m going to have to miss this gig :(

Back when the Planet of the Apes franchise was really big, one of the many incarnations was an animated spin off in the 70s.
Though the movies have seen various releases, it wasn`t till last week that the animated series was also finally released on DVD.

When I have time for it, I try to play a little with markers, and ink my sketches with markers and color them afterwards. Sometimes the results are quite good, and sometimes it`s just crap. I recently colored a sketch of Satan with markers, and below is the result. Crap or good?

At AintitCool a poster is shown for the possible Knight Rider movie. Looking at the KITT picture, it at least looks futuristic so it can`t be that bad. And we already have had Knigt Rider 2000, so nothing can be worse than that.
