What a little inspiration can't do :) A few weeks back in a moment of unclarity and a lot of booze, I got some inspiration to draw some pierced girls. And even though the sketches were quickly done (and the initial result looked somewhat crappy) one was particularly good. So I redone it, inked and colored it and below is the result.

I' m quite a fan of 80s cartoon series, not just because I grew up with them, but also because I think they're much better than the majority of the cartoons available nowadays.
Fortunately there are more people who share that view, and some of them devoted an entire magazine to the toons of the 80s. The name of the magazine is Cerealgeek, and is published by Bustatoons. I received my copy yesterday, and I must say that visually it looks stunning. There's all new art, no ads and 100 pages devoted to the numerous cartoons from the 80s.
For the art alone I can recommend this mag to anyone who has some interest in animation

It`s been 6 years since Ozzy Osbourne released a new album (probably got a bit too busy with the MTV show and other TV related stuff), but in May we`ll finally see the release of a new studio album. Zakk Wylde will be doing the guitars again, so with Ozzy on the vocals and Zakk on the guitars, it can only be a damn good album. At Ozzy`s official you can already hear a few samples from the new album.

09 April 07 - 00:09WTF?

Avril Lavigne is one hot lady (though there is some disagreement whether or not she's also a good musician). Recently the single 'Girlfriend' was released from her upcoming new album. I still think Avril looks damn hot, but seriously what the fuck was she thinking (or what drug was she on) when she wrote this piece of crap?

Just because she looks so damn cute I've included her new video, but I would advise to turn the music off, because the song really sucks.

UPDATE: the clip has been removed, because even though Avril's in it, the whole thing just really sucks. If you really want to see it, just check it out at YouTube. (And yes, it's Avril rapping and synchronise dancing in it)

07 April 07 - 01:06Smoking pierced girls

I normally don’t like smoking girls, but somehow I find them fascinating and thus keep drawing them. I do like pierced girls, and also I just can’t resist drawing them.
So when I heard tonight that a certain person I know might have a piercing, and she just did not tell me where it was, I just could not take it and it has been bugging me the whole evening. Yes, I know it is pathetic, but again I’ve had a few beers, and I guess I am pathetic enough to get worked up about that. But on the other hand it did give me some inspiration to draw again, something I haven’t done in quite some weeks now.
So here are a couple of sketches I just made, showcasing where that piercing might be (and yes I had nothing better to do this late in the night)
