The official Southpark website has added all episodes of Southpark to the site and can all be viewed online. You can select every episode that has been broadcasted thus far. The quality of the video is pretty good, and of course Southpark is still one of the funnier cartoons around. You will have to sit through a commercial before the episodes begins, but that little nuisance is pretty much ignorable.
Today it was announced that the Dutch metal festival Fields of Rock is cancelled due to disappointing ticket sales. According to the organisation due the lack of a major headliner less than expected tickets were sold. Personally I don't think oldies like Motorhead, Judas Priest are tiny bands - but they indeed don't attract a big crowd. I really enjoyed Fields of Rock last year so it's a bit sad to see it not happening this year. Guess I'll have to look for some other things to do coming festival season.
Though in 2006 a new art book by fantasy painters Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell was released, last year November and new one was released called Imaginistix. And of course, I just had to get it.
There are a couple of comic book artists I’m a fan of. Cho, Linsner and Bisley I’ve already discussed extensively through their art books that have been released thus far. Adam Hughes is another artist whose art I appreciate, and in this case I sadly must confess it’s because he draws hot babes with big boobies ;) But unlike other great artists there has not been a collected art book released for Adam Hughes thus far.
So when DC released a book called DC Covergirls and featured a cover by Hughes, I just took the gamble. And fortunately the gamble paid out nicely.
Brian Bolland is of the best comic book artist around, though he may not be the most well known. But fortunately the people at Image also know he’s one of the best and published a book dedicated to Bolland’s art, conveniently called The Art of Brian Bolland.

As I mentioned before I think the Monsters Line from McFarlane toys is one of the best toy lines ever. All the figures from the 2nd series, the Twisted Land of Oz, should prove this statement. And the coolest figure from that line was of course Dorothy, in an incarnation like you’ve never seen before.
But Mrs. Claus is here to stay! The Monsters line from McFarlane Toys is without a doubt one of the best toy lines ever made. After Tortured Souls, Twisted Land of Oz and Twisted Fairy Tales the bar was set pretty high. And when Twisted X-mas was announcement as the next line, initially I was very excited. However, after seeing the first pictures I could not help but being disappointed because in comparisson to the previous Monsters line, the X-mas figures just weren’t as cool. There was one exception though, namely Mrs. Claus.
Told as the life story of the Gorillaz, Gorillaz The Rise of the Ogre features all kinds of art from the animated band Gorillaz. The Gorillaz were an actual band, but the people behind the band chose to make the Gorilllaz a ‘fictional’ band so that the band members are animated characters instead of actual humans.
Confused, yet? Well, don’t worry you don't have to understand in order to appreciate the art.
Hollywoodreporter reports that a Famiy Guy spin off is in the works. The spin off will focus on Peter's friend Cleveland. Though I like the idea of more Family Guy related stuff, I'm quite curious and a bit skeptical whether or not Cleveland is the most fitting character to base a spin off on. I'm sure there are more interesting characters in the FG universe who seem more interesting. But guess we'll just have to wait and see for the final result.
