Glenn Danzig anounced that his comic book character Satanika will be made into a live action movie. The movie will be directed by Thomas Mignone. Other than that, no additional info has been given.
If you don't know who Danzig is, then you should be ashamed. Aside from being a rock legend, Danzig also publishes comics and one of his comics is Satanika, a cool ass demon chick. The comic was a mixture of horror and porn, so I'm more than curious to see how the movie will turn out.
23 March 09 - 18:40DreamWorlds: Production design for Animation
Another book (2007) devoted to the wonderful art form animation is Dreamworlds by Hans Bacher, a well known designer in the animation world who's worked on various high profile animated features and projects.

No doubt this will have something to do with the live action movies coming out this summer for both of the franchises.

Main reason was boredom, but also because I liked certain bands and just wanted to have their logo on my stuff. Bodhi Oser must've thought the same thing because he released a book about band logos.
08 March 09 - 18:28Spider-man and his Amazing Friends
Another toon favorite from the 80s is Spider-man and his Amazing Friends. It’s also a series which took a very long time to be released on DVD. But at the end of 2008 it finally happened though it seemed like it would be postponed again, because the company which was supposed to release it went bankrupt. But fortunately the DVDs were already released and I got mine in.
