Sometimes I'm seriously surprised just how retarded some villains are. In kiddy cartoons I can somewhat imagine the villain is portrayed as an idiot to keep it comical. But in movies intended for mature viewer I sometimes see the same dumb villain in which it's no surprise the hero manages to defeat the villain. Not necessarily because the hero is brave or anything like that but simply because the villain is an idiot.
Terminator Salvation was released on DVD last week and when I saw it again I immediately thought about idiotic villains. I mean, the whole purpose of the first Terminator movie was to kill Sarah Connor so that she couldn't give birth to John Connor, the leader of mankind in the future against the machines.

When it comes to releasing animated movies based on their superhero catalog DC Universe has established quite a name. One of their recent direct-to-DVD movies is for the Green Lantern. The Green Lantern is one of the bigger names in the DC universe but hasn't received a dedicated animated series or movie yet.

Hard to make a choice between all those great movies? Well, no worries because Flickchart helps you with determining what your favourite movie all time is.
It works very simple, Flickchart displays two movies and you pick which one of the two you like best. Sometimes this can be hard when two movies that you both like are shown, but the end goal is to determine which one you like best.
So, in the end you end up with one movie that you prefer over all other movies and that should be your favourite movie. A very cool website, but also very addictive :)

The first time I saw the video clip and listened to the song 'Misery Business' from Paramore I somehow wasn't impressed. Perhaps I didn't listen to the song well, or was preoccupied with other stuff and I just didn't pay much attention to it. Either way, when I heard the song again a few months later -this time on Guitar Hero- I loved it. I eventually got their album 'Riot' and immediately liked the album and soon it even became one of my favorite albums.
I was pretty excited when a follow up to 'Riot' was announced, namely 'Brand New Eyes'. And when I heard that there would also be a limited edition I of course had to get the Limited Edition.
Last weekend I got a Sony Vaio Laptop. I didn't like the performance of my iMac so getting a Macbook was out of the question, no matter how cool they look.
Also, this time I wanted to use the computer mainly for accessing the Internet and working on my website and blogs and less for graphics. So, in order to use the computer whenever and more importantly wherever I want I decided to go for a laptop this time instead of a desktop.
My new Vaio looks really cool and includes a BluRay player which is nice in case I decide to switch to BluRay discs instead of DVDs.
But more importantly it has Windows 7 installed as the OS which I'm hearing good things about. Windows 7 visually looks different than XP (duh) so the first few days it's going to be getting used to the specifics of Windows 7. So far I like the themes and the speed with which I can open files again ;)
