Bulking Steel
I grew up with the live action Hulk series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferigno in the 80s and the cartoon series from the 80s. And I didn’t mind reading a Hulk comic book. So, each time a Hulk movie is announced I’m quite curious to see the result.
The last big budget Hulk movie (the Ang Lee version from 2003), wasn’t so bad as a movie but in general it just lacked what makes Hulk so good, namely brainless violence and action.
The latest Hulk movie, starring Ed Norton and Liv Tyler is much better in that respect and when Play.com had a one day special for their steel book exclusive I just couldn’t resist.
If you like steel books, then this Hulk one is a nice addition. If you hate steel book releases, then just skip it. The steel book isn’t anything special, but I think it’s looks nice. So, I’m happy with my Hulk steel book.
